The main feature of the new die concept is that all the stages necessary for the process take place within the die – without restricting the use of the full die format. This also includes the heating of the skin film. Thanks to this controlled process, a high level of pack quality The main feature of the new die and output can be guaranteed. Only the die and grippers have to be changed to carry out the format change, which means that machine downtime is reduced to a minimum. Modified atmosphere packs or packs without modified atmosphere can also be produced on the traysealer.
The high-output T 800 traysealer is suitable for packaging large batches and can be operated from both sides, and can be integrated into automated packaging lines. The T 800 that will be presented at the IFFA is part of an automatic packaging line. This line consists of a denester with tray tracking, conveyor belts, a metal detector, an L 310 conveyor belt labeller for top and bottom labelling, and an H 130 handling module for handling finished packs.
In addition to this, MULTIVAC will also be presenting at IFFA a diverse range of products for loading on automated traysealer lines, such as multihead weighers, portion-to-pack systems and various fillers. Fillets, steaks, mince, burgers, chicken wings, ready meals and many other products can be packed on MULTIVAC traysealers.
In cooperation with leading film manufacturers, MULTIVAC has approved a film range for producing vacuum skin packs, and this enables high-quality packs to be produced for a wide variety of products and requirements.
